Mt. Sinai is one of the many hamlets that make
up the Township of Brookhaven. Brookhaven Township
is largest of the ten townships that make up Suffolk
County. Both Brookhaven Town and Suffolk County
fall under the domain of New York State. New York
State is one of 50 states of the United States.
Within the hamlet there are a number of special
districts. Residents are part of the fire, ambulance
and lighting districts. If voters approve membership
in a library district, then this is added to the
list. Some areas of the hamlet are hooked up to
a sewer district. Below you will find convenient
links to both websites and e-mail addresses for
your Federal, State, and Local elected officials.
